He related his tale about his run to me. He said it was a little misty while running, and wasn't too bad until he hit his halfway point to turn around. That is when it got bad. Right before lightning struck, he could hear a bit of fuzz in his earphones. That kind of freaked him out. He also saw a light go out due to lightning striking it. Needless to say he ran faster. Rain just pour down in sheets. He could hardly see any thing in front of him. It was uncomfortable having the rain hit his face.
I was just happy to have him home. He took a shower (not like he didn't have a shower in the rain) and then we went to bed.
The next morning I got up and was checking email and Facebook. I saw a post from a friend that used to live here hoping that his friends in Rochester were fine after the tornado that ripped through. O great a tornado came thorough town and David went running while there was a tornado warning!?! That kind of freaked me out. Come to find out the tornado hit close to where David ran. Can it get any worse? Saturday David went out for another run. This time it was nice weather. Thank goodness. He came back home and told me that he found another reason to pee his pants. Right where he turns around, there were several trees that were bent over. Great. We figured about the time he got home was the same time the tornado came through. So about 25 minutes after he turned around it struck.
This is a Picture of tornado damage..
I am glad that David is fine. He will be able to tell about the time he outran a tornado.
